How Do You Use Your Space?

Is your home office scrunched into 12 cubic feet, yet you are storing 100 cubic feet of empty boxes in your basement or garage? Which is more important, the home office where you pay your bills and organize your busy schedule, or the empty boxes you may or may not use some day? How about giving the all-important home office a little more space so you can organize it efficiently and work there comfortably, and giving the empty boxes a little less space because they are so much less important in your life (I hope!). Decide how much of your valuable space each type of item in your home and office will be allowed based on how important it is to you.

Let New Opportunities In!

Your front door is the key to attracting new business and personal opportunites. When you look at the front of the building your eye should go to the front door first. Make a bold statement. Paint it a bright contrasting color, or hang something bright and eye-catching on or near it. Then make sure there is nothing blocking the door on the inside or the outside, even if this is not the door you use the most. Watch out for things like overgrown bushes, planters that crowd the entrance way, clutter, outerwear, shoes and boots, doors that stick or won't open, rugs that keep the door from opening easily, and things stored behind the door. And last, open the door every day! Find a reason (newspaper, mail, cat, dog, or no reason at all) to open that door and let the energy and opportunities flow in!

Attracting a Great Relationship

Would you like to be in a wonderful new relationship, or improve an existing one? Then take a look at your bedroom. If you were already in that wonderful relationship, how would the room look? Consider these possibilities... Use warm colors and nice linens. Make sure both sides of the bed are balanced, with matching or similar nightstands and lamps, and easy access. Don't store stuff under the bed, because it creates an energy block that will prevent things from happening. Take a look at your artwork. Remove images of single people and add romantic art. Display things in pairs, and avoid ones and threes. Do you have lots of pillows, real or stuffed animals, or clutter on the bed? Make sure there is room for another person! Then write down your romantic goals and aspirations and place them out of site somewhere in the room. Remember to change or remove your written goals and aspirations as your life changes.

Space Clearing with Candles

Perform this space clearing ceremony only when there are no young children or pets awake in the house. Please use all appropriate safety precautions when burning candles. Place a 9 tea light candles on a heatproof surface in three rows of three, one to represent each Gua of the Bagua Map. Make sure each candle is a safe distance from the others and any flammable objects. Light each candle while speaking aloud or to yourself an appropriate version of this intention:
“My intention for the burning of this candle is to remove all non-beneficial energy from this building, and to replace it with beneficial and uplifting energy. I ask for this or something better, that is also for the greatest good. I am thankful for this space clearing.” Let the candles burn until they go out, if possible. Check them regularly during this time to insure that they are burning safely.

Space Clearing with Sea Salt

Sea salt is very effective in absorbing negative energy. Use the natural salt without iodine or any other additives. Get together enough cups, bowls or saucers (plastic is good because it’s unbreakable) to place one in each corner of each room. Don’t forget basements, attics and other storage spaces. They can also be placed under desks, beds, and in closets. Put 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt in each and place them on the floor. If you have pets or young children consider placing them up higher for safety reasons. Leave the salt in place for 24 hours, then flush it down the toilet to remove the salt and negative energy from your environment. If there has been a lot of negative energy in a space repeat this procedure 3 days in a row. To maintain an energetically clean space repeat this procedure once a week or once a month, depending on how much negative energy collects in the space.

Leave a Vacuum..

If you want something or someone new to come into your life you must create some space in your environment. Look around your home or workplace. Is there a particular place associated with what you want? If so, then do some clutter clearing there and create some empty space. If not, then do some general clutter clearing. Closets, drawers, cabinets and desks are good places to start.
